Unique code & number

One QR code, one number, one rope

Every tag is unique. The QR code opens the rope's digital record; the printed number identifies the same rope when a code cannot be scanned, for example in a paper handover or a phone call.

Tag the rope at manufacture or supply and keep its certificate reachable through its service life.
Synthetic rope
Mooring lines, tails and slings carry the same identity, whatever the construction.

Certificates

The certificate travels with the rope

Manufacturers and suppliers attach the rope's certificate and supporting documents to the tag's record, so whoever holds the rope can reach the paperwork from the rope itself instead of a filing system.

    Choose the tag size

    Select the tag housing that matches the rope diameter, construction and service environment.

    Assign the unique code

    Every tag carries one unique QR code and one printed number, so no two ropes share an identity.

    Attach it to the rope

    The tag is mounted on the rope by the manufacturer, the supplier or on board, on steel wire and synthetic rope alike.

  4. 04

    Link the certificate

    The rope's certificate and supporting documents are attached to the tag's digital record.

  5. 05

    Access the digital record

    Anyone with permission opens the record from the tag and follows the rope through its lifecycle.
